SOUTH SEA PEARLS
South Sea pearls are generally much larger than other pearl types (8-20 mm), and they have a unique luster quality and a satin shine. These qualities make the South Sea pearls very valuable and one of the most expensive pearl types.
It is produced by White lipped, Silver lipped and Gold lipped oysters that can be found in the waters of Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines. These pearls are naturally colored according to the color of the host shell, so their color ranges from mainly white and silver but can also take on different shades of golden.
